Mote is an audio recording extension that can be used to easily add voice comments and audio content to the Google Workspace, including Docs, Drive, Slides, Sheets, Forms, Classroom, and Gmail. 

Educators can use Mote to:

• Offer read-aloud options to provide equitable learning environments 
• Provide timely and thorough feedback to students

Students can utilize Mote to:

• Submit questions or comments about an assignment to the teacher
• Record reading to show understanding, pronunciation, and comprehension skills
• Utilize audio recordings to create interactive experiences within projects

Mote provides teachers with weekly email reports detailing student usage and engagement. It also offers educators the ability to deliver explicit instruction to all students by inserting audio recordings with ease. And, I love that Mote recordings can be translated into 20 different languages to help eliminate barriers within our diverse learning communities.  

How can users access it? 

Both teachers and students can visit Mote.com to sign up for an account, add the extension, and sync with a Google Account. Mote can be used within all Chromium-based browsers, which include Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Brave. Mote does not offer support for Firefox or Safari browsers. The Mote app is also available on IOS devices.
